Cartridge Information~
Original CartridgesWhen we refer to an "Original Cartridge" we mean an ink cartridge that is made by and branded by the manufacturer of the printer.
Original Cartridges are normally more expensive than compatible or remanufactured equivalent cartridges.Compatible CartridgesWhen we refer to a "Compatible Cartridge" we mean an ink cartridge that has been to the original manufacturer's specification by other manufacturers.
Remanufactured CartridgesWhen we refer to a "Remanufactured Cartridge" we mean an ink cartridge that has been factory cleaned, refilled and tested by a third party and not by the original manufacturer.
Remanufactured are normally cheaper than Original Cartridges.Refill KitsWhen we refer to a "Refill Kits" we mean a kit that has been designed to refill your Original or Compatible ink cartridges, the kit comes complete with all the tools required, step-by-step instructions and specific inks for your printer's cartridge(s).
Refill Kits normally work out cheaper than buying Original or Compatible Cartridges.Chipped CartridgesWhat we mean by "Chipped Cartridges" there is a tiny micro chip which is mounted on the ink cartridge. This actual has a few purposes the main one being this enables the printer and the user to monitor the ink levels.
NON Chipped CartridgesWhat we mean by " Non Chipped Cartridges" These cartridges are for the old printer range and do not have a micro chip mounted on the cartridge, unfortunately you wont know your running out of ink until its to late.
High CapacityWhat we mean by "High Capacity" these cartridges offer 1.5 times as many printed pages than a standard capacity cartridge at 5% coverage.
30% Extra LifeWhat we mean by "30% Extra Life" Jet Tec Extra Life cartridges feature a tiny microprocessor mounted on the cartridge that allows the printer to extract more ink from the cartridge after it has initially given the signal that the ink has run out. This results in 30% more prints before the cartridge has to be discarded or refilled via a refill kit.
100% Extra LifeWhat we mean by "100% Extra Life" Jet Tec Extra Life cartridges feature a tiny microprocessor mounted on the cartridge that allows the printer to extract more ink from the cartridge after it has initially given the signal that the ink has run out.
